Abstract
The reflection of the religious, social and cultural beliefs of historians is involved in the representation of historical events. One of the issues in the field of historiography is that the historian has been influenced by which belief, value and knowledge when explaining, analyzing and analyzing his work.
Historiography is also considered to mean recording and describing aspects of human life in the context of time, including various items such as descriptions of beliefs, convictions, thoughts, information, and way of life, political, social, economic, geographical and cultural conditions.
In this article, a comprehensive history written by Mohammad Mofid Mostofi Bafghi, author of the 11th century AH, is examined from the perspective of intellectual and cultural history. Measuring this work with characteristics such as the formulation of religious knowledge, credit knowledge and social theory of Iranians about society is one of the objectives of this article. In the following, a useful comprehensive in comparison with the most important characteristics of the historiography of the Islamic era, such as the mission, purpose and benefit of history; Recognition and review of resources; we evaluate the methods of collecting and transporting historical materials.
