In this article, while reviewing the main components of the economic
ethics of people in Yazd, the factors affecting the formation of this type of
behavior among the people are introduced. Then, the stability of previous
factors and emerging factors affecting the economic ethics of people in the
new world will also be examined. Finally, some approaches will be
introduced to take advantage of the positive aspects of these ethics in order
to achieve sustainable development and economics in isolation in this
province. The method used in this research is historical, analytical and
documentary. By relying on the heritage inherited in Yazd as a
manifestation of Iranian wisdom and desert wisdom (the most important
feature of which is coexistence with nature and other human beings and
the balance between the material and spiritual dimensions of man and the
world), this article on the junction of " purely economic development and
profit-oriented" and sustainable and human-centered development,
prescribes the second option for Yazd and in the field of culture, instead of
preserving the cultural unity of the city, recommends efforts to strengthen
the cultural self-confidence and self-awareness of people and also
strengthen the coexistence with other cultures.
