The city's long history suggests a climate of climate adaptation and the innovations of its inhabitants in balanced development that are commensurate with climate constraints. Architecture, urban planning, the water system of the aqueduct and the peaceful coexistence of culture, as the most prominent manifestations of this city, which has led the UNESCO World Register of Historic Context, alongside the diverse subcultures that have preserved this ecosystem for many thousands of years. The city's culture-based development tool can be used to optimally utilize its cultural assets in the path of sustainable development. Referring to this lasting historical legacy and presenting the prospect of culture-based development is studied in this article. شهر یزد در چشمانداز توسعه خود با موانع طبیعی فراوانی روبه روست و تجربۀ توسعۀ شتابنده<br />و ناپایدار دهههای اخیر آن حاکی از این است با روشهای موسوم به توسعۀ صنعتی، توسعۀ پایدار<br />آن در معرض تهدید است. تاریخ دامنهدار این شهر حاکی از نوعی فرهنگ سازگاری با اقلیم و<br />نوآوریهای ساکنان آن در توسعۀ متوازن و متناسب با محدو دیتهای اقلیمی است. معماری و<br />شهرسازی و نظامواره آب و قنات و فرهنگ همزیستی مسالمتآمیز به عنوان مهم ترین تجلیات<br />ممتاز این شهر که از سوی یونسکو به ثبت جهانی بافت تاریخی انجامیده است. در کنار خرده<br />فرهنگهای گوناگونی که این زیست بوم چند هزار ساله را تاکنون پاسداری نموده است می تواند<br />دستمایۀ توسعۀ فرهنگمحور این شهر برای بهرهبرداری بهینه از داراییهای فرهنگی خود در مسیر<br />توسعۀ پایدار گردد. اشاره به این میراث ماندگار تاریخی و ارائۀ چشمانداز توسعۀ مبتنی بر فرهنگ<br />در این مقاله بررسی شده است. https://fyazd.ricac.ac.ir/article_105387_700369a48f30f205d5b759c56410a804.pdf
