An examination of the symposium of Adobe sculpture in Yazd invites the audiences to challenge for a new comprehension of Yazd's historical monuments in addition to displaying the cultural and climatic features of Yazd. These Artworks can be defined in the Site-specific art category because the Artworks and their place of presentation convey the meaning of the work together. Site-specific art is a type of art whose nature is tied to the form and meaning of the place where it is located. A significant feature of sculpture art is its general nature. The city has been linked to art as a place of presentation in The Symposium of Adobe sculpture. The cultural nature of Yazd is evident in the sculptures. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the public domain of Yazd city as a place of performing The Symposium of Adobe sculpture and the nature of these Artworks. The question posed in the research is how location affects the characteristics of an Artwork. The result of the examination of the components of Site-specific art shows that it corresponds many of the features of The Symposium of Adobe sculpture. The artist can transform existing living spaces into interactive platforms by combining new types of art in urban spaces and shaping the actions and reactions of audiences and places. در برخی از هنرهای جدید محل عرضه‌ی اثر هنری منجر به ایجاد فضایی پویا می‌شود که نتیجه‌ی آن تعاملِ بیشتر مخاطبان با اثر هنری است. هنر مکان‌ویژه گونه‌ای از هنر است که ماهیت آن در فرم و معنا با مکانی که در آن قرار گرفته است گره خورده‌است. در سمپوزیوم مجسمه‌سازی خشت خام یزد، شهر به عنوان مکان اجرای اثر با هنر پیوند خورده‌است. بررسی سمپوزیوم مجسمه‌سازی خشت خام نشان می‌دهد که علاوه بر نمایش ویژگی‌های فرهنگی و اقلیمی شهر یزد، مخاطبِ اثر خود را به چالشی فکری برای ادراک جدیدی از آثار تاریخی شهر یزد دعوت می‌کند. این آثار می‌توانند در دسته‌ی هنر مکان‌ویژه قرار گیرند، چرا که آثار و محل ارائه‌شان به کمک یکدیگر معنای اثر را منتقل می‌کنند. این مقاله به دنبال بررسی این مسأله است که که چگونه مکان اجرای سمپوزیوم مجسمه‌سازی یزد می‌تواند ویژگی‌های این آثار را به عنوان آثار مکان‌ویژه تحت تاثیر قرار دهد. نتیجه‌ی بررسی مولفه‌های هنر مکان‌ویژه نشان می‌دهد که بسیاری از ویژگی‌های سمپوزیوم خشت خام با هنر مکان‌ویژه مطابقت دارد. بنابراین، با ترکیبی از گونه‌های هنری جدید در فضاهای شهری و شکل-گیری کنش‌ و واکنش‌ میان مخاطب و مکان‌، می‌توان فضاهای ساکنِ شهرهای تاریخی را به بسترهای تعاملی تبدیل کرد. https://fyazd.ricac.ac.ir/article_105347_6adcc87f999833f80d8566c87ae0667d.pdf
